Michael Mavromatis is the founder and director of AUS Counselling. With over two decades of experience in helping people find healing, direction, and purpose, Michael brings a calm strength, deep insight, and unwavering commitment to every client he walks alongside.

Michael holds a Master of Counselling Practice, a Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling), and a Graduate Diploma of Divinity. His academic training is complemented by extensive experience in private practice, ministry, and leadership — forming a holistic and integrative approach to care that meets clients wherever they are in their journey.

His areas of expertise include trauma recovery, identity formation, men’s and women’s mental health, and counselling from a Christian worldview. Michael has a particular gift for helping individuals explore the deeper themes of their lives — offering not just symptom relief, but transformation.
